Hey scrappers! I’m here to share a super fun and masculine layout with you–that’s two in the same month! Ok, so I admit, it’s typically very difficult for me to steer away from the cutesy feminine products but with July’s kit, it made it so incredibly easy. I began by matting my photos, layering patterned papers, and adding embellishments around the photos for extra detail! I filled the right side of the layout with speech bubbles from OA patterned paper, as well as heat-embossed sentiments from the Simple Stories stamps that came in our Stamp Add-On. I hope you’ll try stepping away from your comfort zone and trying something a little different–and I’d love to see! Have a great week!
Hey everyone, Ashley Fowler here to share a quick and simple layout with lots of fun embellishments. When I began the layout, I knew I wanted to use the Theresa Collins woodgrain paper, along with aqua, red, and pink elements–I just love those colors together! I decided to make this a diagonal design by using rectangular embellishments starting from the bottom right corner and flowing to the top. We received some amazing embellishments in our kits such as Theresa Collins’ “Something Wonderful” elements and OA chipboard pieces as well. Lastly, I added Heidi Swapp “Sweet Cherry” mist. I hope you’ve gained some inspiration from this layout! Have a wonderful Saturday!
Hey y’all! Ashley here to share a quick and simple layout using the July 2014 Hip Kit Club main kit and add-ons. I knew right away that the October Afternoon collection would go along perfect with the picture I was choosing to scrap! In this layout I used an OA cut-apart sheet, along with crate paper elements such as the frame around my photo and some of the “Open Road” die cuts. I added the cute little OA chipboard mustache as well as washi tape, OA die cuts, and Theresa Collins chipboard stickers. I hope y’all gained some inspiration from this simple layout! Have a wonderful Saturday!

Layout: I created this simple layout by matting my photo with plenty of patterned paper and then layering up embellishments on top of punched circles. I used the “Scrap Circles” Neat & Tangled stamps which I heat-embossed and punched with circles as well. Lastly, I added Pinfresh color block wood veneers, puffy stickers, and enamel shapes! I hope you love it!
For the Card I simply cut a piece of 3×4 watercolor paper from the kids’ craft section of target (LOVE IT!). I stamped the “Diamonds” Neat & Tangled stamp set in versamark ink and heat-embossed in white. Then I used distress inks mixed with water to add pops of color on top. I then used an embossing folder (Stampin’ Up!) to create some texture for the background of my card—especially because there is a lot of white space! Lastly, heat embossed the “Thankful Turkey” sentiment on a piece of yellow card stock and placed a puffy border sticker (Pinkfresh) and a color-block heart onto my card for extra interest. I hope you love this one too!

Hey y’all! Ashley Fowler here to share 2 projects made with some “fresh” goodies that came in the Pinkfresh exclusive kit, plus other fun items from the store!
“Hold My Hand”
I am in love with this layout. It’s so whimsical, yet includes fun pops of colors. I started with watercolor paper for my background and used my acrylic block to add some watered-down distress ink. I wanted to keep it simple but I also knew that I just had to use the banner stamp from the kit. I stamped in versamark and heat-set it in gold embossing powder. I sewed down my banner and then added the wood veneer embellishments around the focal point. Lastly, I embellished the photo by adding those amazing puffy stickers and an enamel frame. Hope y’all love pink!
This layout gave me some struggles (I am an honest person). However, I kept it going and loved the end result. I wanted it to be vastly different than the first layout but I just love PINK so much that it was hard to steer clear. So, I didn’t. I still used pink but this layout is full of all kinds of color. I used the exclusive vinyl 3×4 cards and then used punches to cut them out (don’t cringe). Along with the 3×4 cards, I used the exclusive vinyl letters and adhered them to the page with my Tiny Attacher. The (3) enamel frames can be found in the store, along with the rose colored glitter tape and the color-block wood veneers. I hope you’ll keep going when you struggle during your scrapbook process!
If you haven’t checked out the stamp sets that are available, stop everything you’re doing and check them out. They are adorable! I used the Summertime stamp set to cut out the cute little sailboat, sun, and “summertime” banner.” The card is 4×4 and matted with crate paper patterned paper from my stash, and includes another enamel Polaroid frame. I finished-off the card by adding some sequins from my stash!
