Scrappy Tuesday!

Hey y’all! I’m back with a super fun post on making your own embellishments! I had a blast making these embellishments and it’s so easy that I know you’ll want to try it. I began by grabbing some scraps of cork, stamps, as well as some other supplies that are probably in your stash!

Simply stamp onto the cork using the VersaMark ink and heat emboss with any color (I used white). Punch with a small circle punch and voila! You have yourself a unique cork embellishment! See below for final pic!

I then decided to take things a step further and create more of my own embellishments using different sized punches as well as scraps from the Wonder and Shines collection. This was a blast! I added layers upon layers of random elements that I had lying around my scrap room. If you’re ever wondering what you can do with your scraps—grab some punches in different shapes and start punching, layering, and you can even add some stitching for a special touch! I hope y’all enjoyed this tutorial and gained some inspiration. Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Christmas time is near!

Hey y’all! I’m back, but this time I am sharing how I created several simple tags out of patterned paper and embellishments! I started by using a tag die (any tag die will do) and some patterned paper. I die cut the tags and then used some of the Elle’s Studio “Joyful” ephemera pack for the embellishing.  I also used the “Joyful” journaling cards as tags, by simply punching a hole and adding a reinforcer piece. I just love the way these tags turned out! Check out the products listed below so that you can purchase some amazing Christmas goodies to get started on your homemade tags!
